Mon.-Thurs., Dec. 22-25: Last-minute gifts of art classes at Northwind Art School are available now, and they range from watercolor painting to jewelry making this winter into spring. Visit https://northwindart.org and click on "Take a Class" to see more than 70 offerings starting in January at Northwind, which has its classrooms and open studios at Fort Worden. Classes range from one-day workshops to weekend courses, with a few longer courses also in the lineup. Artists of all levels can find a class to suit their interests and/or discover a new passion. Several offerings are open to youngsters as well as adults, such as "Potato Stamped Tote Bags," Jodi Ericksen's lighthearted class on Jan. 21.
