Light in Winter: a special Bardroom THIS TUESDAY in co-operation with University of Kent

You are warmly invited to a special Bardroom this Tuesday evening, 08 January 2013, from 7:00 pm.

Some 20 members of the University of Kent (UK) Creative Writing Society are in Budapest and many of them have just completed a Bardroom-organized Masterclass entitled, Light in Poetry. The result, and a healthy sampling of their other literary efforts, will be showcased at this special Bardroom event.

So please come, welcome to Budapest, enjoy and encourage this diverse group of talented student writers. Styles range from “short, horrid and twisty” experimental prose, through performance poetry, to full-length novel excerpts. It’s a programme sure to please.

As always at this month’s Bardroom we will also host a spontaneous poetry contest, as well as quiz questions, prizes and more!

Note: due to the large number of scheduled performers there will be no open mic slots available on this occasion.

We are asking a modest 500 forint admission fee, which includes a great hot mug of one of Laci’s incredible specialty teas, with over two dozen varieties to choose from!

Additional café fare including great cheap homemade food is also available.
