Hello All,

I found your email address via crunchbase.com. My co-founder and I
recently sold our company, which was an ISP in Ontario, Canada. We'd
like to do something similar again. We're hoping to join up with
another two or three founders, each who have worked together and
founded a successful startup in the past. I figure the group we're
looking to talk with have either, just went through an exit, are in
the midst of an exit or just started another startup.

I'll post more information on who we are, what we've accomplished and
which skills we're seeking below this email. If anyone comes to mine
or if you know of anyone I can ask, please let me know. Also let me
know if there is anyway I can return the favour.

Bah please ignore the comment about crunchbash.com. Shamefully it was a
copy/paste :-/

Hi, Steve.

Congratulations on your sale!

Where are you and Jim based?

Do you have a business idea that you want to develop? Are you
interested in hearing others?

Norm.

Hey Norm,

re: location - Currently we live in Waterloo, Ontario.

re: business idea - We have been focusing on finding like-minded
people. We've made a conscious effort to try and stay away from
brainstorming too much on the ideas. Coming up with problems others
need solved seems to be more straight forward (and very tempting) than
the problem of finding like-minded people who have had similar
experiences.

Where abouts are you? What have you worked on in the past?

Steve

there are some informal groups that get together in Waterloo for this
very purpose (of finding other founders, sharing ideas, etc)

I will contact the organizer and let him know about your post

best

Mic
