hey folks! Instead of waiting for the wiki to be filled up, lets do this via google groups! Again, let us base in on 6 presenters, 2 parallel. If got more than we make it earlier at 3pm, if not, 4-7 is a good time!

Let me start the ball rolling!

Track 1 (Techy)

4-5pm: Ruby on MRT (Choonkeat/Herry)
5-6pm:
6-7pm:

Track 2 (Biz-y)

4-5pm:
5-6pm: Pinko Marketing (Chandra)
6-7pm: Slacker Guide to running a Marathon (Lu Feng/Meow)

Keep the ball rolling guys! 2 of more people can always lead the discussion on the same topic yah? More fun anyway.

So guys. lets make this event a fun and great one!

Cheers,
Meow

Hellow chaps!

Let me book the 4-5PM slot in the Biz-y track ... I got
something controversial for all of us to discuss

"Why tech-geeks and marketers ... will NEVER understand each other's websites!"

Should be a great time for some head-butting, loud swearing
and naked wrestling between the two camps ... so please
come prepared with your own side (techie websites vs
salesey websites).

Wow, the biz side seems to have filled up ... maybe we should
extend the meeting time

Hello Steve,

I was thinking... let's make it 0.5hour (30mins) per slot. 1 hour is
way too long if you've something really good to say!
(contradictory, but think about it)

I'm saying that because I'm thinking of the feasibility of having a
2-track event. What if, I'm interested in both?

hmmm... i think you are right. I think 1 hour is too long, but 30 min might not be enuff for anything substantive, if you add all the moving aroud and getting warmed up part.

45 min anyone?

more opionions please!

Hi

Just an opinion on the timing - I agree with Kelvin that 30 min should be good enough. :)

Thanks for the slot. I'd probably take temperature only then and see what the crowd wants to know. I'm sure there'll be many Rails enthusiasts around to share their experience as well.

Cheers

Hey dudes,

I'd like to swap to a later slot or something b'cos there's a high change I'd be late. So anybody do feel free to
Or perhaps we can keep it flexible... like er... barcamp style ;-)

dude, its cool as long as you get there before 7pm. after 7pm, we
could hang around for a while and move somewhere else, but we'll
figure that out then.
