summary of meeting# 2

yesterday we had meeting and this is summary :

- confirmed date
we have a almost-confirmed date for BarCamp phuket Nov 29th
and this is time schedule :

9.00 -10.30 registration
10.30 -13.00 presentation
13.00-14.00 lunch
14.00-17.30 presentation

- place
we use the lecture rooms at 2nd floor of building 1 ,PSU
room 1201 can hold up to 70-80 ppl,
room 1204 can hold up to 25 ppl,
and room 1205 can hold up to 50
about this, we should limit registration at 140 ppl


-wifi
wireless hotspot with leaseline
will avariable in all the rooms.


-speakers and their presentation
this is important to ensure that we have local speakers who
have somethings to present indeed.


-sponsor
we need to really be looking for sponsors.
If anyone is interested in helping with this please
contact us.

@makissy I will ask some sponsor to you in BKK, Did you have some paypal account? May be we can have a campaign to find money to support barcampphuket.

I will go to phuket in 13 Oct, so I will free in 14 Oct and we will have a time to talk about barcamp, the way of barcamp in bkk.

Thanks for putting these notes online m@k!ssy, your english is great.

I spoke some people today and hopefully some presentations will come
out of it. I spoke to someone who can get an article in the Phuket
Gazette, I'm going write (and copy and paste) around 1000 words about
what barcamp is.

I'm also going to talk to some potential sponsors tomorrow.

Your best bet for sponsors is probably local companies that have a
good reason to want to see the Phuket tech community grow. Growing
companies that are hiring are a good target. Put a link on the
barcampphuket.org web page to a ponsorship info request form or email
as soon as you can. They need a way to contact you if they find you.

I am in Phnom Penh until Tuesday (I was here for Barcamp Phnom Penh).
When I get back to Bangkok, let's chat in the #barcamp-thailand IRC
channel. Do all you guys use IRC? It's a great way to keep a
conversation going for planning.
