I have two initiatives to tell you about, which are both
looking for more collaboration with the community. So if you're
looking for a way to help the Orlando community grow, here is your
chance to do your part.
CoLab Orlando - http://www.CoLabOrlando.com
Soon to be Orlando's first permanent co-working space
downtown. Should be open in early November, and I'll have more
details for you about it as it gets closer. In the meantime if you'd
like to help shape the space and be one of the first people to use it,
definitely join the Co-working orlando google group:

In the meantime if you're professionally lonely (like me)
there is already a co-working group that you can find every Tuesday
down at Stardust Coffee (http://bit.ly/stardust), from about 9 to 5.
Ignite Orlando - http://www.IgniteOrlando.com
Last weekend at Blog Orlando Dan Kinchen announced the Ignite
Orlando initiative. In case you're not aware of what Ignite is, go to
http://ignite.oreilly.com, and watch a video or two. If you'd like to
get involved with shaping this event in Orlando, please join the
