Hello wonderful camp planning type people! :)

So, we're all busy folks and it's really hard to find the perfect time to get together, but we need to get this ball rolling, so lets meet up using the internets!

At 5pm tonight, I'll be hanging out in the chatroom here:

For anyone who doesn't know, I've offered to drive the process for BarCampNYC5, but also have a baby due May 5th. Because of that, I have a radical proposal... Let's do this thing in March or April! As long as we've got locations, I know we can do it, and I think it would be awesome to pull off not 1 but 2 BarCampNYCs this year! My new position at Drop.io will afford me more time to organizing events like this, and I'm super excited about making BarCampNYC a light, fast, and regular event with a focus on getting awesome people together.

So, who's around tonight at 5? Anyone who can join me, please do! I'd like to talk about the date of the event, the location, and how we get from there to here!

Ak, I forgot to mention I started a doodle for figuring out the date :)

April 3-4 would be great for me, but it obviously depends on if we can get a space that works for that date as well.
