In conjunction with that, the Electronic Privacy Information Center
has an open panel on Net Freedom occurring at the Hotel Bonaventure
from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
Following that I will be hosting a party to benefit Creative Commons
and EPIC.org. There is a $10 door admission fee and proceeds will go
from the party to those organizations.
Among the attendees and speakers there is Whit Diffie (co-inventor of
Public Key encryption), security author and expert Bruce Schneier, and
various other experts on security, privacy, digital copyright, open
source and internet law.
A copy of the invitation with details and address for the party is on
my blog.
This is an open event for anyone who cares about Net Freedom issues.
