Anyone knows if the upcoming BarCamp is limited to 5 presentations
like the usual DemoCamp or are more people allowed to present their
stuff?

Also, when will it take place? I'd like to propose a Saturday or even
sat+sun if lots of people want to come (we have to consider people
traveling from outside of Montreal...)

And finally, has this been publicized a little bit as autumn is coming
quickly...!
Thanks!

It is not a "5 presentation format" but rather a day long event.

Yeah. Let's settle on a date. I am booking facebookcamp Montreal next
week and I don't want both to conflict for timing. I was aiming late
sept. or early oct. for FB camp, what about Oct. 20th (saturday) for
BarCamp Canada? Or we could make a two-for-one and do FBcamp on a
friday and BarCamp on the saturday and make it real convenient for
people from out of town... Then Oct 5-6 could fit the bill.

So BarCamp fellows, any feedback on those dates? Upcoming.org comes
empty for those two dates.

Great date for me. Oct 20th is WikiSym (http://www.wikisym.org/), so wiki-related people wouldn't be able to come.

There is a major Facebook conference in San Jose on October 7, 8 and 9

Selfishly, since I am travelling Oct. 14 to 27, I think the 6th sounds
like a great date for BarCampCanada.

On the other hand, that is Canadian thanksgiving weekend (the 8th), so
although people have a long weekend, they might be planning to spend
it with family.

So I propose pushing BarCampCanada to November 3rd. Since this is
supposed to be a pretty big event, some prep time is in order.

For FB Camp, I say why wait? September 24 still sounds good. Yet I
suspect that finding a location will be the challenge.

In exchange for putting up with my picky-ness, please let me know if
there is some way I can help in the organization of either event -
especially if it involves more phone calls and less physical presence
in Montreal.

I agree on this.

Fred, Simon, where are we on BarCampCanada? Have there been any developments?
