I have a 4 monitor display I'd like to bring along to MadCamp to display tweets about MadCamp as they happen.  I've never attended BarCampMadison before and thought I'd better check in with the organizers before bringing along something requiring floorspace.

It takes up approximately the same floor space as a folding buffet table, but I would prefer to have it on the floor.  Probably against a wall near an outlet.  It also requires wifi or wired internet connectivity.

Mike,

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's probably ok, or
actually, it's probably really cool!

You should see how much crap I haul to BarCamp. :)

(Photo Booth, Time Lapse Bot, cameras, tripods, extension cords, etc...)

Mike,

This shouldn't be a problem, and be aware that the space for madcamp is going to be divided between about 3 floors.  We'll have the lobby of usbank as the main/hangout area, and this area is open to the public during the day :( so we'll have to find the right place to put your rig.

Do you want to come early to be a part of setup?

The US Bank building will be open at 7am and I will be there at that
time for anyone wishing to come early.

There is a loading dock on the Webster side of the building.

Also, my number: 414-915-dude

Great! Myself and 5 other Appleton, WI area hacker-makers plan on
arriving at 9am to assist with setup etc.

The display is cobbled together with donated hardware and is hardly a
showpiece. At this stage it is more of a novelty and I'll be happy if
it mostly works.

:)

Thank you for organizing!
