Alright. Based on the rapid response from Greg and Brad regarding
citycamp, here's a thread for just that topic. I keep intending to
come to the various Rails/JS/PHP meetups to talk about this and see
what the interest is like (and to learn to program...), but have been
too busy. Would people like to schedule a short, preliminary meeting
to get things rolling or just hash it on the list? Heretofore I
haven't been very involved on the planning side of the equation, so I
don't know what the preferred methods and protocols are.

I'm pretty much brand new to this, as well. I just moved to Madison in
July and just started getting into the community outside of work in
the past few months. I've been to the MadJS meetups for the past few
months, and also the Madtown Web Dev. I'm a member of a few other
Meetup groups, but I haven't gone to any yet. That said, I can
probably serve as some sort of liaison to spread word and whatnot. I
also worked at Epic for ~7 months (that's actually the reason I moved
to Madison), so I have a lot of contacts there, and could spread the
word in that community, too.

The post Greg had about the City and Startup Accelerator seemed of
particular interest to me, as I'm working on creating a web startup of
my own with a buddy of mine, and I just applied for a web dev job with
the City :P.

I think a meeting would be best - preferably with someone who's
organized something like this in the past so we can know where we're
starting from, and then we can brainstorm/take it from there.
