Any news on BarCampMadison3? Do we want to set a goal date?

I know a lot of people are busy with other things, so I wanted to plug
some of those things briefly:

August 21st - Madison Nonprofit Day (talk to Alnisa Allgood)
September 19th - Software Freedom Day (talk to me)
September 26th - global Open Everything event (talk to me or Alnisa)
October 3rd - BarCampMilwaukee4 (talk to Pete aka raster [I'm pretty
sure he's on this list])

Food for thought - I'd also like to propose making the 2nd day either a half-day or the whole day a BarCampBankMadison. Here is some more info: http://www.barcampbank.org/index.php/Main_Page

 

There is a ton of credit union organizations in Madison interested in one and I've been looking for a way to get one off the ground for awhile now. It could be an opportunity for some great discussions around social media/technology and finance. Obviously, you can still keep a tract for good ol' barcamp stuff happening too.

 

It also might be a way to bolster attendance and sessions for Sunday.
