Hey we had a look at a studio space near Westbourne park. We need an overview of what dates in early to mid June would work for us.

Can we set that up asap?

Cheers,

If you want to quickly run a poll for possible dates, the following free web apps may help:

We don't want a poll. We need to research what other events clash.

Fair enough, though that's a tough job as there will always be events you don't know about.

If you're looking at early/mid June only, that basically limits it to either the 5th/6th, 12/13th or 19th/20th?

Looking at upcoming.org and meetup.com, the two sites most used for listing tech/networking/interesting events (that I know of), there don't seem to be any similar events that clash for any of those weekends:

One thing that might be of interest, or not, is that England's football team play USA in the World Cup on the evening of the 12th. Personally I'd have to head off early on the 6th to the free (ticketed only) Rage Against The Machine gig at Finsbury Park (to celebrate their Christmas No. 1 success). But it seems to me that June is too far away to find out if any similar events clash as they haven't been announced yet on those sites.

By the way, was it Westbourne Studios that you looked at? http://www.westbournestudios.com - their open area is quite nice and I guess they have a bunch of meeting rooms too?

Ok. So nothing really clashes. Dan W confirmed so too for me on Twitter.

I mostly meant we had to look at other BarCamps and Hackdays and other geek events, but tnx for doing the thorough research ;).

So, Kevin or Salim, can you send an email to the guys from the Great Western Studios? Or send me the email address of our contact?

Cheers,

Science Hack Day has been confirmed as happening on the 19th/20th June (http://sciencehackday.pbworks.com/) in London.

From my vague memory, there may be something PayPal related on the 5th/6th but CB you'll need John Lunn to confirm.

Based on what everybody has said let's try for 12/13 June. It avoids
any remote possibilities of clashes and soccer types can watch the
soccer at bcl8. If at all possible I'd like to avoid 20 Jun but might
be able to do a work around.

If we need to send them multiple dates in early june, then simply send
them the first three weekends...

express a preference for the 12/13, but if it cant be, c'est la vie.
Clashes are inevitable.

Ok. Tnx for all the feedback. We will send them:

The weekends of 5/6, 12/13, 19/20, with a strong preference for 12/13.

I would have thought we should be staying clear of Science hack day's
dates as it looks like the big UK hacking event of the year to me, but
hay ho.

Everything seems to clash. So not many options anyway.

All weekends in June currently appear to be clash free as far as I can
see.

The only possible clash I can see is London Naked Bike Ride on June 12th
