Hi All, Startup Saturday Kolkata is back this April with a bang!! More than 70 Startup Saturday meet ups have taken place in 2008 and 2009 and we have realised the need for providing a platform that helps you keep track of people you met, message people directly, build your online profiles so that others can search for and find people of interest to them, etc. The HeadStart Foundation is also bringing industry partners, academic partners and incubators, and mentors online and accessible directly from this collaboration platform so that finding a customer, an investor or a mentor becomes much easier and accessible to all, even to those who are living in cities where HeadStart does not conduct any activity. Do create an account on our network, join, describe yourself and interest areas, and then join workspaces that are of interest to you. All industry, academic, incubator, and mentoring partnerships will each feature their own workspace on the portal. We are going to add their workspaces on the portal starting this week. What is Startup Saturday? Why should I come? Startup Saturday is a Headstart initiative to provide entrepreneurs in each city with a monthly community driven forum that is structured in agenda but open in discussions. A Startup Saturday provides a forum for entrepreneurs to discuss, present, network and learn from peers, prospective customers, adopters, partners and investors.
