When and Where should we have BarCamp?

Interest for BarCampKC has been fantastic across the multiple user-
groups. So next step we really need to figure out is when and where
BarCampKC can be held. Thus far Cinus from CCCKC has offered the
CCCKC Labs as a potential venue. During our conversation, We discussed
the possibility of requesting one of the larger vacant office spaces
for a day. If there are other spaces you would like to have
BarCampKC, please drop a line here.

Since the date is still up in the air, what are your thoughts about it
during a weekend in August or September? Potential scheduling
conflicts in our mid-west regions are with Des Moines Startup Weekend
on July 31 - Aug 1 and BarCamp Omaha.

What size of venue is needed?  What kind of occupancy should be considered?  I wasn't able to make it last year so I don't know what to expect or consider for this year's event.

Last year we had around 50 people, give or take, in a medium office of 4 rooms.  If we can about 4 conference rooms, that would be great.

Tonight I can get an attendance/interest list going on the barcamp wiki to get a better idea on numbers if that would help.

This will be on a Saturday, right?  If that's the case, I'm sure ECJC can be a possibility as well.

That will give us two options: CCCKC and ECJC. What I would like to attempt is find a space in Rivermarket or Crossroads.

According to the previous version, the last BarCampKC was at the Ad
Astra Overland Park Offices with about 37 participants.
