It has been a long since we talked. As suggested by some of our volunteers, I am proposing 3rd edition of BarCamp Kashmir in March this year.

Don't you think march 14 will be too soon?

Last time we started working on it in January and then it went well on
march 14. I think we need some more time to make it a success. Last
time we had 65 attendees this time we need more than 100, that is
success.

No man! check the group archive. Last time we started in the ending Feb and still could make it. This time, we have got lot of time. 

It was just a suggestion, we can go for ending March. But i feel early march is good time for the event, as there is less activity in colleges / schools and this can help students also to make up to the event.

One more suggestion. Shall we move to facebook group (already created by Qazi Mamoon) instead of using google groups, as i can find that almost everybody is on facebook, and using facebook for our activities will give the event a viral marketing effect.

Hehe... Had been keeping a watch on this thread... Never expected
Ehsan Bhai to take my name here :D.. I think Facebook is a great place
for publicity. You can make it as a event and then invite everyone to
it.. To lure people you can make a guest list of the confirmed RSVP
guys and then make them eligible for some goodies or lucky draw of
some sort... :)

is email easily. FB group is fine but managing discussion and activity
there is like hell.

- Outline of Kashmir Map

I mean is it all we can come up. Some say Kanger and Samavar are also
there, I say they are but those are not Kashmiri things, those are
from Persian and/or Uzbek.
