Giving yourself a close tentative date like April 12 is a good idea for focusing your energies.
But remember that it may change based on the venue's needs and facilities.
For example, we had BarCamp Saigon on a Saturday at RMIT HCM because it was a regular teaching day, complete with security/cleaning/catering/medical staff, etc.
If you do it on a Sunday, it may be harder for you to pull it off.
But then again, since it's a teaching day, there may not be any rooms available.
It all depends.
Just keep that in mind that your date must be tentative, pending confirmation with the venue.
