Flyer to start getting donations

Here's a flyer we can use to start getting donations for the event.
If you see any changes you'd like to make, let me know. Otherwise,
I'd like us to start using this PDF to elicit interest in the event
from corporations. Do you know of any companies you can ask a
donation of? If a company donates before Aug. 10th, we'll be able to
get their name printed on the T-shirts that should be ordered by that
date in order to make sure we get them delivered on time. Even if you
just get verbal commitment from a company (and it will be beyond Aug.
10th before they can run it through Accounts Payable), I think we
should still put their name on the T-shirt.

I've listed this mailing list email address as the point of contact so
that if anyone has any questions on their donation, then anyone on
this list can respond (and just cc the list).

The minimum order for T-shirts I can purchase at around $6 per piece
is 144, so we'll need at least three $300-level sponsors in the next
couple of weeks to get these on order.

If you know of any companies who would like to get their name added to
the list of sponsors on the T-Shirts, there are still eight days left
before we need to get the T-shirts ordered.

Just a quick update: We now have 5 sponsors signed up (and several
more in the works). Alliance Technologies and Internet Solver have
contributed since my last post. The T-shirts order is budgeted and
will go out at the end of the week!

We still need a few things for the event. If you can help, please let
me know:

* LCD Projectors and Screens. Some people have reserved these from
their companies and are bringing them on Sept. 22nd. We have two and
need at least three more.
* Name badges. Does anyone have lots of the name badge plastic cover
things or have a friends in the printing business?
* Wiki Detail. We also need to start filling out the "Participants"
part of http://barcampdesmoines.pbwiki.com/FrontPage with yourself and
people you know are attending
* Wireless Mics and speakers. We can rent at least one of this from
the hotel, but extras are needed.
* Lighting. Does anyone know who could help with getting the use of
some of those big theater lights with (blue and red) color gels for
lighting the event?
* Music. Anyone know someone with a good music BarCamp mix we can
just hookup to the sound system?
* Podcasting. Is there anyone that can lend a mixer and mics and
audio expertise (and/or video cameras) to help capture at least 30
minutes of the event and some random interviews we can later publish
to the web?
