After thinking more about T-shirts, I just realized that the T-shirt
companies have all of their silk-screening costs based on the number
of colors we use in the logo. Do you have time to make a second
version that has the capital building as a solid color?
Next week, I'm planning on starting the process of asking for (up to
$300) donations from corporations. Should $300 sponsors get mentioned
in a text-only small text listing of sponsors on the T-Shirt? Perhaps
$150 sponsors have their name put up on a one of the LCD projectors
during the conference and $50 sponsors get mentioned on the barcamp
Des Moines wiki? I'm trying to figure out what sponsors should
receive as an appreciation for their donation so that we can keep this
entire event free for attendees. Any ideas are appreciated.
Also, I see you're a fan of Asterisk. We use it for our business
phone system here. It should be fun to talk some Asterisk at BarCamp.

Shouldn't be too hard. Are you looking at local companies? I was
looking at printfection.com and they seem to charge the same no matter
how many colors (but then they seem to be using some sort of t-shirt
printer rather than silkscreens).

Yeah, the way I've seen it done before is either have a text-only
listing of the company name on the back of the shirt, or possibly
include a company logo. Since the contributions are all going to be at
the same level I'd suggest listing them alphabetically.

Yup. I'd also like to see some sort of GPG keysigning party.
