I don't play much with startups (other than consulting to them), but I
think it would be interesting. I'd suggest March over February, as
weather in Iowa dramatically impacts attendance.
Also, the local security group (ISSA) is interested in doing a
security
"track" or theme at the next BarCamp, be it this one or the more
"regular"
one in the fall. Basically, we'll find various members willing to
give
talks on various security topics and add them to the session mix.
Would it make sense to handle the startups as a "track" at a BarCamp
as well?
That would prevent any problems arising from splitting the membership
and/or over saturating the commitment level of potential attendees to
both.
