In the about section there is a link to http://iowabarcamp.pbwiki.com/.
It seems this is an old link and the actual detail information about
last year's barcamp can be found at http://barcampdesmoines.pbwiki.com/.
On this wiki there are also photos and a nice little retrospective.

ps Can someone tell me how to modify the "about this group"
information? I would like to update the link at the very least.

You should be able to edit any of the pages. Just click the "Edit
Page" link at the top and then login on the left side. The wiki
password is at the bottom of the login page.
