Des Moines voip - and Nate, please ping me

Is Nate on this list? (Sorry didn't catch his last name, but he was into
Asterisk and ColdFusion). If so please email me.

One thing we all talked about in the Asterisk discussion was that it was
fairly difficult to get an actual Des Moines number for voip service in
Des Moines, you usually ended up with a Boone number or one from some
other little town outside the metro area. I just got an email this
morning from my local voip provider here in Omaha, and they said they
are going to be offering service in Des Moines, and they can do local
numbers. Just wanted to pass that along, their website is
http://www.rivtel.com. I've dealt with Scott there, he's a great guy
who really knows his stuff. So if you signup, tell him you heard about
it from me.

Also, there are very preliminary discussions going on now about having a
BarCamp in Omaha!
