Today's meeting and planning

All,

I am sorry to say that the gods of meeting scheduling have decided that i need to be in a meeting from 10-3pm today. Due to this i will have to miss this meeting. Seeming we (specifically me) have been having getting together, let's just do this planning over the message board for now.

So, the items i needed to go over today were:

Date / Location
We are currently scheduled for June 12th at the improving improving enterprises offices (http://improvingenterprises.com/). The native tentative will be to start at 9am, do a 15 minute introduction and then let the barcamp chaos ensue until around 4-5pm.

Sponsors
Currently we have Microsoft offering $500 dollars, since we have no location fees the general idea was to use that money for drinks. Any further sponsor money could go to providing snacks.

Food
As i said, we plan on providing as many drinks as our current sponsor money will provide for. If we can arrange for a snack sponsor that would be great as well. Any leads?

Insurance
Do we need event insurance? Anyone do something like this before and know the answer? If we do, where can we get it?

Announcements
We should start sending out announcements to user groups and on blogs, but i think we should work on our standard "announcement" message in another thread on this list before we send that out.

That's pretty much it, if i missed anything please let me know. Again, sorry about the in-person meeting fails, the universe is working against me at the moment.
