There are a whole lot of things you can do with Transport Rules. But the problem is that Transport Rules are pretty awkward to work with due to the very basic configuration wizard in the Exchange Management Console.
Basically CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro takes the capabilities of Transport Rules and makes them easier to work with, enhances them in highly useful ways, and even adds a few new capabilities to the mix.
I installed CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server running Exchange Server 2010 SP1. The Exchange Server was installed with the typical server roles of Mailbox, Client Access, and Hub Transport.
The installation was very quick and simple. It will restart the Transport services on the server, so you just need to be aware of that and perhaps schedule your installation for outside of business hours.
The HTML editor includes a library with a few dozen sample disclaimers, including disclaimers designed to appear at the top, side and bottom of email messages. I would bet that there is a sample design in the library that would suit almost any business, with just the simple step of swapping out the place holder logo for your own company logo.
There is also the option to have CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro automatically update the sent items in user mailboxes so that they look the same as after they have been processed by rules. There is a real benefit to your users being able to see exactly the same email message in their sent items that the recipients received, complete with all of the changes made by rules.
Once again CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro solves this problem with a handy content filter. This feature comes with a series of pre-configured dictionaries, including an obscene language dictionary. But rather than just block emails with bad language in them, the program can be configured to replace those words with some harmless text, allowing the email to be dealt with by staff without them having to read the profanity.
It is pretty clear that CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro solves a lot of common business problems, and adds several enhancements and ease of administration to the standard Transport Rules capabilities of Exchange Server 2007/2010.
I was contacted by CodeTwo on friday. They agreed that the problem we were having should have been adressed by support and offered us a very decent compensation for the frustration endured. Thanks CodeTwo
Please accept my apologies. We do not provide support for clients who did not purchase their support contract, but your issue might be related to our licensing system. The support team will be with you shortly to help you.
Entra ID classifications don't seem very exciting because they're text-only visual markers for Microsoft 365 groups and teams that don't come with any of the intelligence built into sensitivity labels. However, classifications can do a useful job for Microsoft 365 tenants that don't have the necessary licenses for sensitivity labels or who don't want to implement sensitivity labels.
Microsoft Places preview, Outlook Classic rebrand, and AI upgrades for Teams Rooms highlight this week's Practical 365 podcast. We discuss the potential impact of Places in the hybrid work landscape, the implications of Outlook's renaming, and how AI-powered speaker recognition is enhancing Teams meetings. Plus, we cover key Microsoft 365 roadmap items, including automatic work location settings in Teams and new Copilot features coming later this year.
Does this link still work? ( ) It says there is a service outage and I dont know if that means the website is not running anymore or not. If it is just an outage, how long will it be for me to be able to use that webpage again?
We know how much the educational license is appreciated and how this outage is bothering for the students who need it. Unfortunately, we had a few issues these past months with the licenses and trust me, it's better to freeze the subscriptions as long as this outage issue isn't solved.
It honestly sounds like the outage is fabricated simply to prevent new licenses being available to students. It is definitely quite convenient to blame it on "a few issues", and it definitely helps force people to buy it instead of getting it legally as a student. I suspect that the outage will never be solved, and that the education program will quietly be pulled.
I can get your frustration, but there's no plan behind this outage and trust me, our team is as angry at the situation as you are. We are still waiting for an ETA, but I'll share the info as soon as we have one to share!
I am in the same boat as a student but totally understand if there was an exposed licensing issue allowing other the abuse it. Lets allow time for Team Adobe to fix the issue. Too much hard work by the developers if there is a licensing issue. Cyril, would you expect a fix within the next 60 days? Trying to time up class schedules. Appreciate it!
I'd love to answer you "yes", but the reality is that I don't know. I've hoped we would at least have an ETA this monday, but we're still waiting. I'm frequently checking with colleagues if there are any news on the subject, and as soon as I have something, I'll share it here.
I've been trying for 2 weeks to apply for the Free Substance 3D for Students and Teachers License ( ) but it keeps saying "We are experiencing a service outage. The technical teams are working diligently on resolving the issue with the highest priority. Please check back later." is there any other way I could apply for this?
I wanted to get the 12-month free subcription for students, but the Adobe Website doesn't provide me access. There is a red bar in the way which say's "We are experiencing a service outage. The technical teams are working diligently on resolving the issue with the highest priority. Please check back later.".
Thanks! Worked! I am back up and running. Please note, my original Adobe email did not allow the redemption code to pass through. Used and an old email to recreate account and worked. Redemption code came immediately. You still use your same school.edu to verify and must use your school email address to complete final registration.
