BCC-5 Feedback

Guys,

We had a wonderful Barcamp 5. It would be nice if every one would give
their feedback to make BCC bigger & better. So here is my feed back

Positive things :

1. More than 300 people attending and having more than 3 forums.
2. Using video to create buzz.
3. Community participation in organizing the whole event.
4. Good support from Paypal.
5. One thing I would like to appreciate is, Paypal being the sole
sponsor for the event they could have easily put an exclusive session
on paypal and made all to attend the same. Instead, they talked about
Paypal only during the Lunch hour. I say its a welcome change.

Negative things :

1. It was only a 1 day event. Would have loved it to be a 2 day event.
2. Hacking/Coding games went missing.

My personal suggestion

1.In 2009, we did not event have 1 BCC. But in 2010 we had 3. Thats
really cool and in future I would like to see BCC happening once in 3
months on a regular basis.

2. In other countries there are barcamps with more focused themes/
titles like Government2.0, Education, Web2.O etc. It would be nice if
we could have such BCC atleast once in a while. (Though it wont pull
huge crowd, we can have quality discussions in it).
