just wanted to introduce myself. my name is jason keath. I am
organizing Charlotte WordCamp. More than willing to help. I suggest
you guys either give me a write up to announce at WC or show up
yourselves and say a couple quick words. Also, I can post it to the
site after WC is over. And I would suggest the Social Media Charlotte
site we have as well.

Let me know if I can help in any other way... have learned a lot
putting together WC.

I have also heard wind that Corey Creed is putting together some
efforts for a PodCamp, would be good to make sure these do not
conflict. I dont think he has a date yet though so it should not be a
big issue.

Hey Jason

We just met up with Justin Ruckman who is helping with the logo and
some design work on a new upcoming site for the BarCamp.

I was hoping to make it to Wordcamp but I'm going to be out of the
country at the time. Though a few words (no pun intended) on the
upcoming barcamp would be great. Also if you are interesting in
getting more involved put your name on the pbwiki site at www.barcamp.org/BarCampCharlotte
and we'll be in touch very soon as we start to organize sponsorships
and locations.

Also we are working on getting a flyer out which might happen in time
for the WordCamp! Wish I could be there :)

FYI, there is no specific plans for a PodCamp quite yet. I think we
will wait until a little later in 2009.

However, I'm very happy to start spreading the word about BarCamp.
I'm looking forward to it very much.
