I have the latest version of the Freedom Toaster on a PC with touch
screen. Anyone interested in burning some FOSS software should bring
some blank CDs and DVDs. This thing is loaded with a lot of the latest
releases.

(Just to check) - is it OK to bring this thing along and make it
available as my contribution? If you want me to talk I can always do
an impromptu talk about anything (just my very facility in saying this
means you should probably not give me the floor;-).

Was about to plan with Stefano to get a Toaster set up there. I think
it's a great idea.

Someone should sell blank CDs or DVDs there - might make some money ;)

I will bring a HDD with everything that the UCT toaster has, we are sure
to have things that you don't. (Because I made some of the DVDs :-)

It's not about making money, dude.

There's going to be a demand. Someone can organise a supply. If _you_
want to supply CDs and DVDs for free, feel free. If _you_ want to
supply CDs and DVDs at cost, feel free. And if _you_ want to supply CDs
and DVDs at a profit, feel free.

That's what freedom is about, right?

Kewl - in the course of testing this sucker I have spindle-packs of CDs
and some DVDs available - so if I can offset some costs here I won't
mind and I think it's a great service for delegates. Nobody is getting
food for free - so why should I be giving away CDs? I will probably
charge R5 per disk...

regards
Charles

If you want, we can sell your cds at the tuckshop. Wont add markup.
Will be good to give the tuckshop mom something else to keep busy with.
