Hi all,

Here is my suggestion for the theme of the next edition :

E-services ( E-commerce,E-administration,E-security....)

Waiting you comments.

I buy that, it is important we look at the practical realities and
implementations of e-services in Cameroon, particularly in the domain
of e-commerce and e-government

Do we really need a theme for this one?

Couldn't we just go for a more general format where people present whatever they want?

Or we could have a number of tracks planned before the day - E-Services, Open Source etc.?

I just don't want to have some people who would have presented but slightly off-topic to feel that they can't present because of the theme...

Giving it a THEME for each Barcamp Cameroon will give every
participant a focus on what to expect from each edition they attend.
Once we are on our way to E-services we can focus on Opensource in the
next edition.

At least that will make you feel like you took something away from
each Barcamp you attend, and also help you be organized in spreading
the word to other geeks who couldn't make it to main event.

But just giving room for anywone to present anything will definitely
leave you feeling empty with nothing.

If I could ask you what exactly did you LEARN from the last editon of
Barcamp, what would be your answer?
