Bar Camp Brisbane - 24th November

Just to let you know that we are doing a barcamp up here in Brisbane
on the 24th November (Yes - I know - that's polling day)

If anyone has friends and collegues up here - be sure to tell them
about it.
We are also still looking for some larger sponsors - so far we just
have a few of our consultancy companies sponsoring which is a little
boring and we don't really need the advertising anyway. So - if any of
you work at companies that operate in Queensland and would be
interested in sponsoring - please forward this email on to anyone you
think may be able to help.
We are currently only looking at $300-$600 per sponsor so it's really
a tiny amount. This will allow us to do some book giveaways and put a
tab on the bar to make the day a little more interesting :)

You might want to get in touch with the OSDC Conference Team
(http://osdc.com.au/contact/) and let them know. They might notify
registrants about BarCampBrisbane given many of them will be around the
weekend before the conference.
Disclosure: I'm on the OSDC Exec Committee. The previous suggestion was
not an official OSDC offer - you'll have to discuss that with the
conference organisers ;-)
