All,

I have an open question for the community (and maybe a relating
enhancement request for PBWorks). We now have 129 comments on the
FrontPage and it kind of slows the load and create some level of noise
for someone interested only in reading about upcoming events. I'm
wondering if we should start deleting some of the comments to make the
page lighter. I have mixed feeling about this, because some of the
comments represent historical testimony of how the page evolved.

So my first question goes to the community: do you think we should
start pruning the comment stream?

And my second question goes to PBWorks: do you think you could deliver
a feature where only the last 10 comments are displayed and you have
to click on a "more comments" in order to access older messages?

Cheers,

Frederic

Is there maybe some way to wean the page into an [archive] one where
that history could be preserved..? Or hang on just long enough more
should your suggested last 10 comments feature or similar become a
reality..?

Just thinking out loud.. :)

Cindy,
These are good ideas.
I especially like the last 10 comment idea with the more comments option if that is easily doable.
