New Sponsor Proposal is available.

This is the team effort to make this document easier to understand and more compelling for companies.

Feel free to give your feedback.

We will working closely with Marketing team to elaborate this document on Sponsor Benefits.

Normally, contacting Sponsors task is only for a small group, to help everyone can involve;

Sponsor team will discuss a step by step process:

by that everyone can help contact with a company while maximizing our chance to get Sponsorship from that company.

The proposal looks cool. I do not like the font though as it is also not in BarCamps "CI", but that's ok ;-)

However as soon as someone could win a sponsor, he or she should direct the contacts to only one person, who is leading the sponsor then though the linked process. THis person needs to keep control on every sponsor. Otherwise it will get very chaotic. I suggest, that the leader should do that as there is a lot of exchange with the supplier team.

It's exciting to hear from Chris that NCT confirmed to be a Legendary Partner (10M/half of year)

This is our first confirmation for sponsoring. Congratz for this.

We are still hearing from other Partners from last Barcamp (KMS and Skunkworks).

We planned for next meeting in 15th March, will be next Thursday. 

Let's prepare for that.

The location is in Niche Cafe, Binh Thanh district, around 6:30 pm.

About my task. What a shame that I procrastinating this for too long so sponsor team members still can not execute it.

As you can see, Christ marked green and yellow on companies which he can contact with. So, the rest will be our.

@Tomo, @Minh, @Ly: I see your name on the list, can you continue?

There're 41 companies haven't have any one to contact, the problem is I don't know exactly how many soldiers we have right now. We need to allocate companies to sponsor team's members, i have no idea "who can contact who", so everybody needs to  look carefully the list above, on Thu (15/3) we will discuss and having last decision about the allocation. Which company you think you can work with easily - just fill in your name.

I'm peparing a slide collecting my experience in getting sponsor, hope on Thu i can show it to you, maybe for some people have experiences it's normal but i think this slide might be useful for beginners.

Great that you are helping community to find sponsor for next Barcamp :)

Can you give more information about companies you planned to contact and your relationship with them?

Please take a bit of time to join team's meeting in tomorrow evening.

In the meeting, Hoang will help us more on avoiding conflicts when contacting companies, such as 2 volunteers contact the same companies.

For official proposal, please check attachment in first email in this thread.

I also attach in this email, Sponsoring Process diagram, made by Long.

and will give brief information about steps that members can involve on getting sponsor.

Hi all, we may have 2 steps in getting sponsors, as Chris suggested,

Step 1: contact, explain and persuade

Our team will choose Contacts in Master file

@Hoang will help us on this.

Any member can help Sponsor team to contact and get agreement.

Step 2: "as soon as someone could win a sponsor"

he or she should direct the contacts to only one person,

that person will help finalize contract as in process

Additional step:

After contact fixed, we will redirect contact to Marketing team, 

So that they can help companies questions on Logo, Website, Booth, ....

Long is working on Benefit in Details, I will gather the information and send to you asap.

Basically, being a Partner means being a Sponsor for more than 1 Barcamp events.

The difference is slightly as in Proposal mentioned: PR before of event, promotion girl or Epic Partner.

You can add more companies and its information in the list.

If there have more than 1 member want to contact a company,

I think you guys can talk together and choose 1 person to do the task.

So, for a company, if there already have a name in Contact Owner column, you can put your name beside.

By that way, for company like Start Consortium,  Hoang will know that he need to talk with you to choose who is best fit in contacting.
