Hi everyone,
Again, here is a link to the doodle for choosing a date for our next meeting. Today far fewer people came than the first meeting and I hope it's not because Thursday isn't a good day. Please let us know at http://doodle.com/wurxuq9pi5gcuzs9
Also, today some people had some good points which should be shared with this whole group so we can continue discussing. Please share those ideas!
Thirdly, a few people said they needed documents or information from me. Please contact me directly and remind me what you need from me.
Finally, thanks to Thomas, here are the minutes from today's meeting:

General updates or questions
- The venue for BarCamp Saigon?
- Every BarCamp Saigon so far has been at RMIT and it’s free (actually their way of sponsoring BarCamp Saigon) and Carl Frie can help if RMIT is the venue we choose, RMIT also “umbrella” as the BarCamp Saigon organisation
- Other suggestions are welcome, but often too far away or not big enough
- Need to have at least one room big enough to fit around 500 people
- Require a lot of extra money, means more sponsors
- Requirements: Not too small, not too far, and not too expensive
- Current suggested date is 1st of July, but still depends on availability
-
Raise money for charity
- We first of all need enough money for the event
- We don’t find extra money, there are hardly enough to cover the event
- Continue talk about charity box or ways to do charity as part of BarCamp Saigon offline (Google groups)
- Helping BarCamp by sponsoring is a sort of charity since we try to help the community raising the bar
-
