Hi all,

As Ross recently mentioned here, BarCamp Oxford 2010 is now in
planning and we need your help.

27 June is the date to put in your diary and it's at the University
Club again as that was such a great venue. Full can be found on the
BarCamp page (which is a wiki so please help improve it). You may
already have seen notifications of updates if you subscribed to them
last time.

http://barcamp.org/BarCampOxford

This year it is running as a sister event to the TransferSummit that
is running on the 24 & 25th so we can expect to see people from there
also at the BarCamp.

You're all welcome to post freely on the group if you want to suggest
a session for BarCamp, ask for
crash-space, or discuss anything related to the BarCamp.

The main organisers (J-P, Ross, Sylwia, Nick, Andrew or Steve) might
ask more organizerly things from time to time as we run around trying
to get things sorted for June 27, but ultimately anyone who wants to
discuss (or volunteer for!) any aspect of BarCamp Oxford is more than
welcome to do so.

As Ross said last year:

"Indeed, I would like to echo what J-P says here. This event wiil be
as
successful as you make it.

If you want to see something happen at the event then volunteer to
make it happen.

If it costs money and you can't find a sponsor than ask on this list,
we might be able to help.

If it takes time - well it's on Sunday, you can give us your time
right?

If it needs some coordination prior to the event but you'll run it on
the day, let us know, we may be able to help."

Steve

P.S I have cleaned up the spam on this list and reopened it to new
members but first post form new mwmbers will be moderated.

Ross

DO NOT turn up on the 27 or you'll be on your own.

The correct day is Saturday 26 June.

And yes there is something happening with 22 guys and a bag of air,
but this will be better. Sorry for the confusion.

Don't worry the bag of air game is part of the schedule. The venue has
big screen TVs on the ground floor. We are seeking a beer sponsor for
that session.
