Hello all,
I would like to take this opportunity to pass my gratitude for all who
have supported us especially youngprofe...@googlegroups.com.
We started as just Kenya methodist university bachelor of business
information technology students website formerly www.kemu.net78.net to
share ideas,lecture notes and eBooks. The response was amazing and
therefore we decided to upgrade the website and have our own domain
name:
www.bit.or.ke
Bit.or.ke is anticipated to become the resource centre for
students,businesses, organisations and interested parties wanting to
find out about Business Information Technology. The website caters for
students who will want to pursue BIT as a career. We are providing
downloads for learning and tutorial materials for academic purposes.
The website provides excellent academic materials which are found in
download section. There are past papers from different Academic
institutions (partners) which are helpful for students during exam
time revision (currently we are uploading Kenya Methodist university).
bit.or.ke is a one stop resource centre for businesses to find out
information about the current trends in business IT industry.
Bit.or.ke will provide business organisations with the necessary
information which will be required to make timely decisions. There is
also a discussion forum where businessIT professionals can post their
queries and get response.
This being a business information technology resource centre, there is
timely and cutting edge news on current information technology news.
We shall provide information on how to improve acquired IT
skills,rules of thumb for an ICT professional and tricks necessary to
have to improve your working environment. There is also motivational
articles and ebooks which help one focus and develop interpersonal
skills.
The website has a section to post IT vacancies which are available.
Organizations and Businesses should take this opportunity to post
vacancies available so as to attract highly qualified ICT
professionals visiting the website.
bit.or.ke is open to any interested organizations to partner in
providing IT information. Organizations and businesses are encouraged
to register with us (especially universities providing Bachelor in
Business Information Technology (BBIT) . This is because bit.or.ke is
one stop resource centre about business information technology.
Since no man is an island and knows everything,i shall rely on you to
help me provide all the above information. Am therefore requesting you
to register with us ,provide us with any information you find
necessary to share with other ICT professionals.
