Hello BarCamp-ers! Welcome to the 2012 event and congrats on winning the BCN Speaker lottery.

My name is Abby Whisenant, and I am volunteering as this year's Speaker's Butler. That means I'm here to answer your questions, provide support and set you up for success for the upcoming Oct. 20th event.

Please use this group to forward questions my way and/or share questions and suggestions with your fellow speakers. I'm brand new to this - as some of you might be - so we'll learn together. No matter how simple or complex, I highly encourage you all to use this group to post questions about speaking, event logistics or to gather feedback. I would almost bet that any question you might have, many others will have the same.

For those of you CC'ed to this announcement, please join the Google group when you can by accepting the invitation emailed by Chuck Bryant. The link will expire in one week. I want to be sure you all receive the same communication - would feel pretty crummy if I left someone out, not my style.
