    I've registered and will be flying in from Bangkok or Singapore wherever I happen to be on that Friday. Wondering if some locals can post some good information on places to stay that are near the venue? I'd like to arrange for a good place to stay before I get there this time. :-)

Do check out the following web links of hotels near the barcamp venue
 

1. www.summithotelusj.com (This one is next to the Barcamp venue)
2. http://www.3kinn.com/   (about an 8 minute walk away) 

The following hotels are also quite nearby  but you need to take a taxi to attend Barcamp

1. http://www.hotelsuninns.com (Choose the Dataran Mentari or Bandar Sunway locations)
2. Grand Dorsett Subang Hotel
3. Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa
4. Sunway Pyramid Hotel
5. Holiday Villa Subang
