please suggest appropriate policy for barcamp-ktm mailing list

Hi,
The original idea behind the barcmap-ktm mailiing list was for the
organizing volunteers to discuss internal ideas and organizational
stuffs (including sponsorships, etc)- i think we have some emails
that'd rather be private (like exchange with sponsors, who arent part
of this list).

But we have been receiving some membership requests from people
outside the circle of organizing volunteers and one last post (which i
removed from moderation queue) was regarding some event (not related
to barcamp-ktm) that they (some pending member) were going to
organize. i thought that would be out of the scope of this list, and
informed the sender informing that.

What do you think? Should we expand this list to a general
barcamp-kathmandu discussion list, create a new one for that purpose,
or continue it as a limited-access internal list?

Thank you for pointing out. However, I was under the impression that
this sort of self development program which is also free would help
