Idea Sharing workshop - New Media or Multi Media is a term that encompasses the emergence of digital, computerized information and communication technologies. The use of digital technology has transformed the way of storytelling.
It is basically publishing stories over the Internet through videos, podcast, audio slide shows, interactive graphics and mobile etc. As consumers in developed society have embraced new technologies, newsrooms are not only been restructuring but also trying to attract the online audience into their fold. This unique development has created both challenges and opportunity in the news business.
Objective of the Workshop -The sharing workshop aims to introduce the participants to the emerging trend in media business. It will also help participants understand ways of enhancing story telling through multimedia, sms Mapping tools and MMS.
The Program will be facilitated by Sean Ang, Executive Director, Southeast Asian Centre for e-Media , Photographer Neti Wichiansaen,www.netishowreel.com and moderated by Journalist, Saurav Dhakal.

Series 1: For Independent Media /Day 1 (8.30AM- 1.30 + Lunch)
Series 2: Development Agencies (NGO) /Day 1 (Lunch +6.30 PM)
Series 3: Blogger Day 2 (8.30 AM to 6.30 PM)
Requirement - Individual or Organization should have any social Media Initiatives (example: Blog, Facebook page, SMS campaigner)
