Computer center canteen is the best vanue. campus restaurant sucks (and it is not meant for a talking group)
The 4th year students are having some pre-placement talks during evening. some of them are on the list, let them suggest a time on this sunday when they do not have some other stuff happening.
I will be out of station but there will be some guys from my start-up.
@Vipul, Dheeresh, Kanishka Aman, before coming to this meeting, you may like to do some homework on venue availability, your next mid-sems, institute festivals etc. If you bring a list of all events in the coming month at iitk, it will be easier to avoid a clash.

So about the meeting:
Place: CC Canteen, IIT Kanpur [Let's not fret about the place; let's meet
up at the CC Canteen, if we find it unsuitable, we can move someplace
else]
Day: Sunday, 6th Sept.
Time: We might have a PPT on Sunday, the SPO hasn't informed anything yet.
Generally, the PPTs take place sometime in the evening, so just to be on
the safe side, let's keep it sometime in the afternoon, say 3 pm.
[Ideally, I would have preferred it to be sometime in the morning, but I
guess Shalini is busy till 2 pm.] I will inform you guys if the PPT
clashes with this time.
