I am seeking sponsorship for a BarCamp event and hope that your
organization might like to contribute in some way.

BarCamp: It's a weekend-long un-conference with the goal of bringing
together anywhere from 120 to 150 interesting people from the tech
and
creative industry in Johor Bahru come early December to
share ideas and learn from each other. Anyone is welcome, and all
attendees are expected to give a demo, a session, or help with one.

If you want to know what to expect at a BarCamp, I suggest reading

), which talks about the BarCamp held in Boston.

Benefits:
- all sponsors will be acknowledged, along with their contribution
and
site link on the BarCampJB wiki and blog.
- wherever possible, sponsor's support will be acknowledged in any
correspondence (emails) with the wider community.
- at the beginning and end of the event, sponsors will be explicitly
acknowledged and sponsor's branding will be displayed.
- you can say a few words at the beginning of the event, if you like.

Sponsorship options:
- RM200 - RM1000
- anything else you'd like to pitch in kind up to RM5000

Your kind sponsorship will be used for the following:
- t-shirts
- meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 tea/snack)
- day's coffee, water, and other liquids
- event snacks
- chartered bus from KL to JB and SG to JB.

Two things I want to make sure to stress:

1) Please don't sponsor BarCampJB as a favour to me. Do this because
you believe that in promoting the ICT sector in JB.
