Brief Description of Volunteer roles:
Ringleader: You are the captain of the ship and you are meant to do
whatever it takes to make this event a success. You should be the most
active person among all the volunteers and oversee the activities of
all other volunteers. You should actively seek new volunteers and help
reach out to more participants and volunteers.
Wrangle Sponsorship: We need sponsors to help make this event a
success. RM5000 cash in total is our target to make this event happen.
Sponsorship amounts should be in RM200-RM1000 or up to RM5000 in kind.
We don’t encourage sponsorship of over RM1000 per company as we don’t
want the event dominated by one single sponsor. An email template to
obtain sponsorship is available at this link:

Treasurer: Handles the cash sponsorship and maintains transparent
accounting records on how money was spent.
Secretary: Handles BarCamp JB internal volunteer communications. Stuff
like the Google groups, wiki, blogs, and twitter.
Food czar: Handles the catering for both days.
Designers: For logos, T-shirts, nametags, Banners, Buntings
Speakers: speak or nominate a speaker for the session
Registration: Man the registration counter and handle human logistics
related issues during the event. 6 people needed.
Lastly all of you must blog and spread the word. Word of mouth
advertising is what makes events like these a success.

Hey Cheryl,
Cheyenne might be coming in to be the photographer. I think she can
managed as I've seen her snapping pics with her professional camera
during our nightout.
She's in the loop of things as she's checking for updates from here.

Welcome aboard!
We were at the 'Olympic' themed-party held at UJ element when you were
shooting.
You must have some interest to actually pick-up the camera.
Although you've suggested to me previously, you can still decide
whether or not to take on the role.

Good to see lots of mails across.
Meow wins the championship in criss-cross emailing. She is taking lots of efforts to get people intact. Why don't we all give her a big hand and make her also a PRO-ACTIVE RING LEADER.
