Hi everyone,
I hope you guys are getting excited as BarCamp JB is less than 2 weeks away. I will be in JB starting from the 3rd to help you guys tie up any lose ends.
In the mean time it’s really time to spread the word about the event, talk you friends and family about it and post it on your Facebook and MSN because time is running short.
Updates:
We’ve made a lot of progress with speakers so do check out the wiki for updates as it is constantly updated
Goodie bag = Cyberport paper bag, Cyberport notepad, MOL Water bottle, MOL Hand phone screen wiper, eBay pens, eBay e-grips

Sponsorship amount from IRDA – please chase guys
Sponsorship amount from Unit Sains – please chase la
Cyberport to talk to building management to ensure air-condition is turned on throughout the duration of BarCampJB. This is important as 39% of people who registered so far WILL be staying over.
How about security? How will people be able to enter and leave the venue freely at night?
We need to ensure that we have some couch/sofa as some sessions will be paneled style. Does Cyberport have some we can use?
Bean bags – We need a few – anyone coming up to KL by car – I have a few we can loan – Can Bar Banyan also pinjam a few?
Design for bunting and banners with sponsors logo – can someone work this out?
So far we have 80 plus people how have registered, if you are a volunteer and have not registered, please do otherwise you might not be able to get the t-shirt.

(Ok, the air-con is RM60 per hour after 1pm on the 6th December.... thus 1st day 1pm until 12am -12 hours; 2nd day (Sunday)12am until what time??
