As noted on the wiki, I'm planning to reserve a room in the same
building again for the first week of April, probably Thursday (4/5). I
think the quality of the venue is tough to beat, although the location
could be more central, and I noted that someone said they could only
make it if it wasn't Mon-Wed. If someone else can reserve a better venue
or strongly prefers another date, then please mention so soon; I plan to
place the reservation this Friday.
Based on the feedback from the first DemoCamp, we need to work on
sticking to the time limits and have a more diverse audience and group
of presenters. I think the latter can be helped by notifying more groups
earlier. Last time most groups weren't notified until a week before
(thanks Katie for sending the messages).
The old page is still up and I added links to the blog entries I'm aware of.

I'd be really interested in attending DemoCampDC2.
I'm in touch with the RefreshDC crew and I can make sure it gets promoted to that crowd.

We were also talking about an interest in doing a BarCampDC.

I can't make Thursdays in general, but -- like you said -- there was
someone interested who mentioned on the DemoCampDC1 page that he
couldn't make Mondays through Wednesdays, so it all evens out. (It'd
be crazy to try to schedule around every single interested person,
anyway.)

I agree, it was a very good location, and although it isn't central to
DC, it is pretty accessible (finding visitor parking so easily at my
undergrad alma mater, Penn State, would be a laughable idea). Is
food/drink allowed in that classroom? I saw some signs prohibiting
them outside the downstairs lecture halls, but I forgot to look for
one outside our classroom.

I know a bunch of us at RefreshDC are interested in doing a BarCamp. We also may have a few really good solid leads on potential venues and sponsors.
Would it be of interest to get all interested parties together for a coordination meeting?

I already found a few groups in this thread and on the BarCamp wiki
(http://barcamp.org/DC+Area+Geeky+Groups) that I wasn't tracking...
