I am one of the organizers of nextDC (nextDc.org), an extension of a
group started in Ny called nextNy (www.nextny.org) . Our objectives
are similar to BarCampDC. We want to create a community for people who
are interested in technology and want to start tech business
specifically software in DC. I image you guys are more interested in
developing and presenting ideas were as we are interested in creating
an environment that has all the resources outside of development such
as money, lawyers, and artist/designers for someone to easily and
quickly get started on developing their idea. Both of us cross were
we want a social aspect to our group parties, presentations, and so
on. In addition we want to recreate the silicon valley atmosphere in
DC. We are just getting started NextDC group just I observe you are.
I see we could someway we could collaborate, compliment, and both grow
our groups together. Would anyone be interested?
