Hi, everyone. After going back to the US for
a few months, and staying in Bangkok for a few weeks, I am in Chiang
Mai for a few days to visit. It would be great to see you.
Lunch on Monday
Rob, possibly Simon, and I are planning to meet for lunch at Salad Concept (https://goo.gl/maps/hbgc8RM9Bnm) at noon on Monday, August 14th. Feel free to join us.
Karaoke Tomorrow (Sunday) Night
Also, as a side note, I’m planning a karaoke get together with some other friends tomorrow (Sunday August 13) at the Royal Peninsula Hotel restaurant (https://goo.gl/maps/9WkNsM3Uawz) and you’re welcome to join us. Some of us will be there at 6:00 for dinner but you could really show up any time and don’t need to get dinner. They say they finish the karaoke at 10:00 but I think I remember it going till 11 or 12. Food there is ok to good and is reasonably priced. For the songs, their English selection is limited but they let me hook up my laptop to the audio system and access the vast amount of content available on YouTube and other sites. You could do the same with my laptop or your phones. There is no charge other than the food and drink you consume. There is free parking under the hotel which is sometimes full, and also beside the hotel, outside (just north of the building).
