I say it’s a fair deal. Discuss?

I’m up for writing an article—anyone else interested? (:

Looks good to me. It's a fair cop. Article of $400-500 = decent blog post.

I'll do one.

To be honest, I doubt it; Sitepoint generally have an exclusive
article policy as far as I understand it, but I would be happy to
inquire if you like.

I’m going to write back to Shayne giving him heads up three of us (for
now Andrew, Stephen and myself) are interested in writing one article
for now. If you are keen on writing more articles, I suggest getting
in contact privately to discuss topics and timelines and such. Josh,
if you’re keen on writing one too for the BarCampCanberra cause give
me heads up or as noted above I can ask about the double-publishing
option.

Thanks guys! That’s three articles at least, which means $600. What do
you think we should say regarding sponsorship details?; one might
argue we individually are sponsoring the event (articles generally are
always paid $200 from my last dealings in that regard with SP), so
we’re not getting anything extra—I’ll double check this.

The books of course do deserve mentioning. Any in particular you guys
would recommend in asking for to give out as prizes?

Kind regards. Woo!

Hi Pascal,

I'm happy for my $200 to look like it is coming from Sitepoint.

As to books - just about anything will be of interest to someone :)

Best regards, Andrew
