...I meant to mention the other day - someone "borrowed with extreme prejudice" the USB hub from Indigo Pacific that I won in the lucky door draw. I think that this is the first case I've heard of something going missing at a BarCamp. The disturbing thing was that it was inside my (albeit open) Mandarina Duck bag at the time, in the same compartment as my wallet and my Eee, and one zipped compartment removed from my MacBook.

It is a small thing, and not worth much money, but disturbing nevertheless.

On the plus side, I have registered infocampaustralia.com and am looking forward to setting this discussion in motion - I've started corresponding with the IAI local groups coordinator (Peter Boersma) about how InfoCamp worked last year in the US.

Someone pinched a copy of Macromedia Studio (the full thing) 5 years
ago during a CMMUG meet :-(
