Hi,

I'm considering presenting a talk at BarCamp, however I couldn't find
one crucial bit of information on the web page: How long are sessions?
I was at the last BarCamp in Melbourne (UrbanCamp, Sep 2009) and from
memory sessions where in 1 hour slots (45 min presentation + Q'n'A of
sorts) but this picture here [http://farm5.static.flickr.com/
4038/4335570775_3c3603545d.jpg] seems to suggest that slots are 30 min
(20 min + 10 min Q'n'A?).

45+ min would allow me to present my talk on "Climate Change -
Psychological and Societal Aspects" that I prepared for the last
Melbourne Trampoline but wasn't able to for a lack of slots in that
event's roster.

Please respond soon as I need to plan my weekend in advance.

It's not on the EventBrite or the barcampcanberra.org site but the
BarCamp wiki says "In terms of time, slots will be around 15 minutes
of talking and 5 minutes of Q&A. If the group wants more time, it's
okay to self-organise and reshuffle the schedule or find another
location to continue the discussion."

Slots for BarCamp Canberra are 20 minutes. Strict. You can run a
conversation, talk, talk and converse, have questions, do interpretive
dance, whatever. But you are ABSOLUTELY limited to 20 minutes.

And, after past experience, only one slot per person until after lunch.
