Sorry it's taken me an age to post something up on here. Holidays and
new jobs and other excuses I'm afraid. Anyway...
I've been chatting to those nice people at Red Gate about possibly
hosting the event. They are very interested but we're basically at the
sorting out the logistics side of things. In particular the person I'm
talking with thinks they might only be able to host 60 people.
Unfortunately I'm in London everyday and not really available to pop
over to the Red Gate offices to have a look and more of a personal
chat. It's difficult to get across how barcamp event works on email!
I think several people on here work at Red Gate? And other people are
based in Cambridge and might have time to go have a quick meeting.
What I think we need to do is:
* Confirm the capacity at Red Gate for a barcamp style event
* If that's 60, or 75 or whatever, decide if that's enough for the
event we want to run
If anyone has the time for this that would be great.
I've also been chatting with the people behind Barcamp Cornwall so we
don't clash with them. They are also aiming for 'early next year'
which is when I guess we'll be good to go if Red Gate works out.
Thanks
Gareth
