Dear Sirs & friends,
1. I consider myself
lucky to be able to participate in recently concluded MGT at our beloved
school. I was able to relive the old memories and enjoyed every moment of MGT
with our teachers and ex-students. A sincere thanks to all the people who were
involved in organising the mega event. Every minute detail was taken care. I am
sure many of the alumni could not attend due to unavoidable commitments.
2. Recognizing
the achievements of latest passed out batch and current students, in the field
of academics & sports are commendable. This will surely go a long way in
motivating them to achieve greater heights.
3. A career counselling
for class X students was a very noble idea. I did get an opportunity to
interact with Class XII & XI science stream students in addition to class X.
Interaction with the students and a few of the serving teachers was an eye
opener. The state of school infrastructure has been progressively deteriorating
and so is the number of permanent & qualified teachers. It is understandable
that we can make a difference but in a limited way to school
infrastructure, due to paucity of fund. We need to bring the available
resources together to do something for the students. Something which can
benefit a bigger number. It could be anything from augmenting school library to
gifting a few musical instruments (music teacher told me about the sad state of
instruments held by them) or to setting up English language lab (for improving
soft skills).
4. I request each
of the members to think over it and lets have a healthy discussion in the
group. Lets together do something more for our school and the students.
Regards.
